Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at moreplantslesspeople@outlook.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

From Marietta to Roswell—and beyond—More Plants, Less People provides expert virtual garden consultations and hands-on garden maintenance. For gardeners in any grow zone, virtual garden maintenance plans are customized to fit your unique needs. These plans include a detailed month-by-month breakdown for every plant in your garden, offering step-by-step guidance to ensure it thrives.

Whether you're revitalizing an existing garden or starting fresh, these tailored plans help transform your garden into a lasting legacy of beauty and nourishment. Enjoy vibrant blooms, abundant harvests, and peace of mind—no matter where you are.

Our garden consulting services start at $30 per hour. Please note that this rate does not include the cost of materials. Materials that may be needed include soil, compost, fertilizer, seeds, plants, and garden lights.

Additional fees include:

  • Haul Away Fee: Our haul-away fee starts at $7.50 per trip and covers the removal of garden waste and debris. Additional charges may apply based on the cost of materials, such as landscaping bags, and any extra labor required to break down or handle larger loads. This ensures your garden stays clean and tidy without you lifting a finger!
  • Hazard Fee: We charge a $30 hazard fee for handling poisonous plants like poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac. This fee accounts for the increased risk involved, as these plants can cause severe allergic reactions in about 85% of people. While 15% of the population is immune, most experience symptoms such as redness, itching, swelling, and blistering when exposed to the plant’s oils. Reactions to poison ivy can vary based on individual immune response. For some, symptoms clear up in a few days, but for others, the rash can persist for several weeks. Severe cases often require medical treatment, including prescription steroids, to alleviate symptoms. Our hazard fee ensures we can safely and responsibly manage these risky plants while protecting our team and your garden.

You can schedule a consultation directly on our website or by contacting us via email at moreplantslesspeople@outlook.com or give us a call at (470) 785-3599 . We’ll work with you to find a convenient time that fits your schedule.

A grow zone, also known as a hardiness zone, is a geographic area defined by its climate conditions, specifically the average minimum winter temperature. It helps gardeners and farmers determine which plants will thrive in their region. The USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map is commonly used in the U.S. to classify grow zones, ranging from 1 (coldest) to 13 (warmest). Knowing your grow zone helps you select plants best suited for your local environment. Check out the USDA website to find your grow zone by zip code: https://planthardiness.ars.usda.gov/
